Doctoral Academy Training Programme

To help equip you for your research journey, we have put together the compulsory Doctoral Academy Training Programme for PGRs in the Faculty.

This includes bespoke training tailored to your School to ensure you receive the most relevant training throughout your research degree. You must take this programme.

This training is an integral part of the research experience and provides you with the strongest grounding possible to succeed, whether in academia, industry or a health profession.

The Doctoral Academy training programme is delivered in partnership with the University's Researcher Development Team. It provides foundation and intermediate level training at key stages of your postgraduate research degree to ensure timely completion, generic skills development and increased future employability.
