Funding

Funding for PGR projects comes from a number of sources, for example, an existing research grant, a Research Training Support Grant (RTSG) from a Research Council-funded studentship, or a Divisional or School account.

You should talk to your supervisor in your initial planning meeting about the funding available and ensure that you know how to order consumables or book travel (where available).

If you have received a funding/sponsorship letter alongside your formal offer letter, then this should state whether there is an RTSG or project costs element to your funding.
